About us

Letters to Jinny a British memento & jewellery brand, with its studio and workshop in the Highlands of Scotland. Our memorial heirlooms are the product of a life-long passion for the handing down of stories and memories through the generations, and each locket is designed with the wearer in mind. We’ve worked with many clients over the years to create a multitude of bespoke locket memorials, each filled with a poignancy and love that we’re honoured to have been a part of. We are conscious of the impact our business has and are working towards sustainable and ethical solutions on all fronts. To read more about our work in this regard, please click here.

Hi, I’m Hanna

I’m the one behind Letters to Jinny, the face to the name. It will be myself you speak to if you get in touch, and I design and create your memorial heirlooms in our cosy workshop. I’m always here if you have any questions or would like to talk through your options.

A QUICK JOURNEY THROUGH TIME

A child of the 80s & 90s, Hanna grew up in a converted Victorian schoolhouse, nestled in the once grounds of an old Scottish estate. Hidden in amongst the forests and mountains, Hanna spent her childhood discovering the secrets of the old school house and surrounding countryside. In 2009 Hanna graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee. Since that time she spent many years living in the heart of historic Edinburgh, and even ran her very own design boutique called Black Box with her good friend, and fellow jeweller, Sarah Brown.

Hanna now lives in the quiet Highland village of Beauly with her husband and children.
